I created this piece to depict a skier flying quickly through a snow-filled, rocky landscape. If you peer closely, you can just make out the skier at the bottom right (the poles are a giveaway). At this speed, the figure blurs into the landscape and becomes a silhouette similar to the rocks they avoid. Figure and environment become one through movement. It’s a delight to display this piece and watch viewers discover the skier in time.
