"Over The Edge" | Original Drawing
“Over The Edge” is an 11x14 original black ink drawing on white canvas depicting a snowboarder heading over the rise in a ski run with snowy trees on either side in full view of ski runs on the mountains in the distance. The rich texture of the mountains in this piece simply sings. Each little tree was drawn with careful precision, creating a tactile texture that is a treat for the eyes.
If you’ve skied or snowboarded at a mountain resort recently, you know the feeling of coming up to the edge of a small rise in the run - the hill seems massive, and one feels they may simply drop over the edge of the earth itself. Of course, once you make your way over the edge, the run is never as steep as it seems.
“Over The Edge” arrives ready to hang unframed or in the frame of your choosing.
*Currently on display and available for purchase at Studio SHH in Bozeman, MT. Please contact the gallery directly to purchase.
